We're parents. Like every family we know, we've lost hours we'll never get back, scrolling through outdated websites, chasing down phone numbers that go straight to voicemail, trying to figure out whether a daycare is actually good or just has a nice logo.

We built MapleCub because we were tired. Tired of the searching, the dead ends, the wasted time. Tired of feeling like information that should take five minutes to find somehow takes half a day.

Every minute you spend searching is a minute you're not spending with your kids. That's the part that got to us.

Finding great childcare in Canada shouldn't require knowing the right people. Provincial licensing databases exist. But they're scattered across government portals, buried in PDFs, and near-impossible to search. Families end up spending weekends on phone trees instead of with their kids.

We pulled every provincial licence database, cleaned the data, and built the search families deserve. Every listing you see on MapleCub is verified against your province's official registry. Not crowd-sourced, not self-reported. Real data, so you can make a real decision.

Finding great childcare should not be this hard. The information exists: it's just scattered, outdated, and buried behind forms and phone calls that belong in a different decade.
