01 — The fact

664 of the 878 schools teaching secondary grades hold authority to grant credits.

A private high school can only issue OSSD credits once the ministry has inspected it and granted that authority. The other 214 have none listed in the register. That is not a judgement, just a fact families should know before a tour.

The 753 elementary-only schools are never assessed for it, so their pages do not raise the question.
