About
The centre uses the YMCA’s play-based curriculum, with qualified early childhood educators facilitating play experiences to support children’s social, emotional, physical, and school-readiness development. For early learning, YMCA Greater Toronto identifies YMCA Playing to Learn™ as its curriculum, designed to help children reach their full potential through active and quiet play, and for school-age care it uses YMCA A Place to Connect™. This location serves children in early learning and care, including support for the transition to full-day kindergarten, and it also offers before- and after-school care for ages 4–12. Notable features include licensed care, access to outdoor spaces and activities, and a focus on healthy, active, and fun programming with nutritious snacks and indoor/outdoor activities for school-age children.
