About
Kids Club (Day Care Connection) uses a school-age care philosophy that blends Ontario’s How Does Learning Happen?, ELECT, the Toronto Middle Childhood Strategy, and AQI to guide its curriculum; the centre says staff build learning from children’s interests, strengths, and needs. It serves kindergarten to Grade 6 / school-age children, with City of Toronto records listing it as serving children 4 to 12 years and the programme page describing before- and after-school care for kindergarten, Grades 1–2, and Grades 3–6. Notable features include a before-and-after-school programme, staff escorting younger children from class, and a focus on balancing structured skill-building with play, socialisation, homework, and reflection. It is also a non-profit, licensed child care centre that participates in the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care system, and it offers catered food with options such as gluten-free, organic, peanut-free, pork-free, vegetarian, and special meals on request.
