Licensed Subsidized Daycares in Caledon, ON

Subsidized Daycares in Caledon

The hard part in Caledon isn't the ratings. It's the map. Caledon is a single municipality covering roughly 690 square kilometres, and its ten licensed centres are scattered across the whole of it, which means two results sitting next to each other in the same search can be forty minutes apart by car. Four of the ten have enough Google reviews to be rated, and those four average 4.75, comfortably above Ontario's 4.46, with three of them at 4.5 or higher. A Palgrave place is not a Mayfield place.

What to know about childcare in Caledon

Sand Castle Childcare on Mayfield Road pairs the best score with the best evidence: 5.0 across 26 reviews, which is by a wide margin the largest review base in the municipality and the only one here you could call properly tested. It sits at the southern edge near Brampton, while Caledon East Children's Place on Old Church Road follows at 5.0 over eleven reviews from a spot roughly in the middle of the township.

The YMCA runs two of the ten. Caledon Central on Kennedy Road shows 5.0 across four reviews and Palgrave on Patterson Side Road shows 4.0 across four, but four reviews cannot separate two centres in any meaningful way, so read that gap as noise rather than as a ranking. Palgrave is in the far north.

All ten participate in CWELCC, which in Ontario is near-universal among licensed centres, so it distinguishes nothing here and fees are capped identically at every address on this list. What differs is availability. That isn't in the record.

Age licensing is absent for all ten. Ontario's provincial file leaves the age field empty on 82 percent of its listings and in Caledon the figure reaches a hundred percent, so the infant, toddler and preschool filters return nothing at all for this municipality and you will have to ask each centre directly which rooms it runs. Eight have a website and eight list a phone number.
