Licensed Preschool in Saint Basile Le Grand, QC

Preschool in Saint Basile Le Grand

Seven of the ten licensed centres in Saint-Basile-le-Grand carry enough Google reviews to be rated, and those seven average 4.63 against a Québec figure of 4.52. Half the town is subsidized and half isn't. Five of the ten offer the reduced contribution, well under the provincial 74 percent, which makes a cost comparison mandatory here rather than a refinement you get to at the end once you've already picked a favourite and toured it. Nine of the ten take poupons. All ten cover toddlers and preschoolers.

What to know about childcare in Saint Basile Le Grand

Two centres hold most of the review weight in this town, and the gap between them and everyone else is not close. Premiépas on rue Daragon is at 4.7 across 41 reviews and Garderie le Petit Cercle on boulevard Sir-Wilfrid-Laurier is at 4.1 across 35. Between them they account for roughly three-quarters of everything ever written about child care in this town, so those two scores are the only ones tested by volume rather than by a handful of parents in an unusually good or unusually bad week.

The rest sit on thinner ground. Les Moussaillons shows 4.8 across eight reviews and Académie Seigneuriale has 4.6 over nine. CPE les Contes de Fées appears at two addresses, 80A rue Principale and avenue des Pinsons, both at 5.0 over seven, and both belonging to one centre de la petite enfance.

That CPE matters for anyone comparing costs. It is one of the five subsidized listings, and the two names with the strongest review records are not, which means the best-documented centres in this town and the cheapest centres in this town are largely different centres. Decide which you're optimising for before you phone.

Four addresses, one street. Rue Principale carries four of the ten listings, and eight of them have a website. All ten give a phone number, and the town sits close enough to Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville and Beloeil that both belong in any search that comes up short here, particularly if the reduced contribution is what you're chasing, because neither of those neighbours is as thin on subsidized installations as Saint-Basile turns out to be.
