Licensed Preschool in Saint Eustache, QC

Preschool in Saint Eustache

Saint-Eustache splits almost exactly down the middle on funding: 9 of its 18 child care services hold reduced-contribution places and 9 do not, well below Quebec's provincial share of 73.9%. That 50-50 line is the most consequential thing on this page, because which half a service falls into changes what you pay far more than any difference in quality between them. On reviews, 12 of 18 services carry three or more, averaging 4.43 against a Quebec average of 4.52, with eight at 4.5 or better. The strongest evidence in the city belongs to Garderie Éducative le Pinceau: 4.8 across 51 Google reviews, an unusually deep record for a city this size and worth more than the perfect scores above it, which rest on four or five reviews each. All 18 services are licensed for toddlers and preschoolers; 15 take infants.

What to know about childcare in Saint Eustache

Work the funding split first. Nine services offer places at the reduced contribution ($9.65 a day now, $10.60 from January 2027) and nine charge market fees, with the provincial tax credit returning part of the difference at tax time. Half the city sitting outside the subsidised network is well below the provincial norm, and it means a Saint-Eustache shortlist assembled on reputation alone can easily end up entirely on the expensive side without you noticing. Establish each service's status before you rank anything else.

The review data rewards a careful read. Twelve of 18 services have been reviewed at least three times, decent coverage, and the average is 4.43. Académie des Petits shows 5.0 from 5 reviews and CPE le Jardin des Chouchoudoux 5.0 from 4, real but slight. Garderie Éducative le Pinceau's 4.8 from 51 reviews is a different order of evidence entirely: fifty-one families is enough that the score is unlikely to be an accident of who happened to post. When you are comparing a 5.0 from four against a 4.8 from fifty-one, the second is the safer bet.

Fifteen of 18 services are licensed for infants, a solid ratio, though pouponnière ratios keep the number of actual under-18-month places small at each one. No service is listed for school age, which is normal in Quebec: that runs through each school's own service de garde.

Two things to do. Register on the Portail d'inscription aux services de garde early, since position dates from enrolment and the Basses-Laurentides lists are steady. And note that our Quebec data covers installations only, so milieu familial options in Saint-Eustache (coordinated through the local bureau coordonnateur) exist but will not appear in these listings.
