Daycare & Childcare in Saint Lambert

Three providers here show five stars. That sounds like a strong endorsement until you look at what sits behind it: thirteen reviews in total across those three, which is five, four and four respectively, and no other provider in town has accumulated enough reviews to appear in the calculation at all. Thirteen reviews is nothing. A single bad experience would drop any of these three from a flat 5.0 down to somewhere in the low fours overnight. Read them, do not rely on them.

What to know about childcare in Saint Lambert

Nine listings resolve to eight distinct operators, all of them installations rather than home-based care. Garderie Éducative les Colibris, Garderie Éducative l'Arc-En-Ciel and La Gazouillerie are the three carrying ratings, while the Centre de la Petite Enfance du Mouillepied runs the Ruelle installation and is among the several providers with no review history in our data. That is most of them. Six unrated out of nine.

All nine are licensed for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and because Quebec publishes age groups on every registry row, that is a verified count rather than an estimate, which puts Saint-Lambert in a better position than almost any comparable Ontario suburb for a family with a baby. Six of nine take the reduced contribution. The remaining three operate as non-subsidised garderies, where families pay market rates and recover part of it through the provincial tax credit. Montreal is across the bridge.
