Licensed Preschool in Sainte Marie, QC

Preschool in Sainte Marie

Sainte-Marie's average rating is 3.30, and one listing is doing almost all of the damage. Centre de la Petite Enfance Lacet de Bottine's Lamontagne installation sits at 1.6 from five ratings, and Garderie Vali Kiwi sits at 5.0 from four. Those are the only two. No other provider in town has three ratings or more, so the town average is nine opinions added together and divided, and it should not be read as a verdict on Sainte-Marie or on the four centres it says nothing about. Five ratings is a small sample. It is also five people who felt strongly enough to write something, and the comments are worth reading in full.

What to know about childcare in Sainte Marie

Lacet de Bottine runs three of the six listings here: Lamontagne, du Parc and Étienne-Raymond. Only Lamontagne carries ratings. The low score therefore attaches to one installation of a three-site CPE rather than to the organisation, and before you extend it to the other two you would want to ask whether staffing and management are shared across the sites. Ask that directly.

Four of the six are subsidized. Garderie Vali Kiwi and École Vision Beauce are the two that are not. École Vision Beauce belongs to a private school network, so its preschool sits inside a wider school programme and its fees follow that school rather than the ministry's reduced contribution.

Sainte-Marie is the administrative centre of the Nouvelle-Beauce and sits about thirty minutes south of Lévis on Autoroute 73, close enough that a good number of parents here drive toward Québec City every morning. Five of the six list poupon places. That is better infant coverage than most towns this size manage, and it is usually the number that decides where a family registers.
