Daycare & Childcare in Bois Des Filion

Bois-des-Filion's six centres average 4.40 across the four with enough ratings to count, a little below Québec's 4.52. The spread underneath matters more. Garderie Éducative Pomme d'Amour sits at 5.0 from eight ratings and Garderies Coffre à Jouets at 3.6 from seven. That is a wider gap than you will find in most towns this size, and it is a good reason to read the comments rather than sort by stars and stop there. Académie des Copains averages 4.9. Its 14 ratings are the largest review base in town, and it does not list poupon places. That matters if you need infant care.

What to know about childcare in Bois Des Filion

Four of the six are subsidized. Académie des Copains and Palais des Précieux are the two that are not, which means the town's highest-rated centre and its most-reviewed centre both sit outside the subsidized system. That is an unusual shape for the Laurentians, where the subsidized CPEs normally sit at the top of the ratings, and here the two CPE installations have no ratings at all, which leaves the town's cheapest places and its best-documented places sitting on opposite sides of the list.

Centre de la Petite Enfance les Amis d'À...bord runs both of those installations, Joseph-Paquette and l'Érablière. Neither carries a rating. Silence is common for CPEs, which fill through the Portail d'inscription aux services de garde and never need to court a review, so the absence of stars tells you nothing at all about the care inside.

Five of the six list poupon places, and all six list toddler and preschool. Québec's age data is complete. Unlike Ontario or British Columbia, where more than eight listings in ten carry no age bands at all and a search filtered by age quietly discards most of the market, these counts describe every provider in the municipality.

Bois-des-Filion is small, about seven square kilometres on the Rivière des Mille Îles, and it borders Rosemère, Lorraine and Terrebonne closely enough that parents here routinely register in two or three municipalities at once. That is the local habit. Nobody treats the municipal boundary as a search filter. If the six options here do not work out, Sainte-Rose and Laval-Ouest are a short drive across the bridge.
