Licensed Preschool in Chateauguay, QC

Preschool in Chateauguay

Les Petits Lapins holds 4.7 stars across 51 Google reviews, the deepest record in Châteauguay by a wide margin. It is one of 16 licensed installations here, all of them centres. Ten carry three or more Google reviews and together they average 4.18 stars, which sits under the Quebec average of 4.52 across rated listings, and only two of the sixteen installations in the city manage to clear 4.5 on the reviews they have collected so far. The gap is real but modest. It rests on ten listings rather than two, which makes it more informative than the ratings on most pages of this site.

What to know about childcare in Chateauguay

Les Petits Lapins carries the deepest record in town at 4.7 stars across 51 reviews, and it appears twice in provincial records as two installations, so treat those entries as one operator running two sites rather than as two separate finds worth chasing down independently. Fifty-one reviews is a large sample here. A 4.7 that survives it outweighs any five-star rating in this batch.

Garderie le Nid d'Oiseau follows at 4.4 across fifteen reviews. Below those two the ratings thin out fast. Six installations have no usable feedback at all.

Age licensing is complete across Quebec so these numbers are reliable, and all 16 take toddlers and preschoolers while 15 of the 16 are licensed for poupons under eighteen months, which is unusually broad infant coverage for a city of this size. It doesn't mean spaces are free. Poupon places across the Montérégie fill faster than any other band.

Eleven of the 16 offer reduced-contribution places at $9.65 a day, rising to $10.60 in January 2027, and the other five are private garderies charging their own rate with the provincial tax credit available afterwards. The gap between the two is worth calculating before you commit. Montréal holds 658 installations thirty minutes away. Longueuil adds 78.
