Licensed Toddler Care in Westmount, QC

Toddler Care in Westmount

Garderie K.I.D.S. Westmount holds 4.9 across thirty-seven Google reviews, and its second site, K.I.D.S. Westmount II, holds a clean 5.0 across twenty-four. Between them they account for most of the review volume in the city, which is unusual for a municipality of twenty thousand people and makes the top of this short list unusually well evidenced. Westmount is a separate municipality sitting inside the island of Montreal, and MapleCub lists seven licensed centres inside its boundaries. Five have enough reviews to average. The mean across those five is 4.72, comfortably above the Quebec figure of 4.52 that we calculate from more than eighteen hundred rated centres.

Infant places are the pinch point. Only two of the seven are licensed for poupons. That is a far tighter ratio than the toddler and preschool coverage, where all seven qualify, and because Quebec's registry records age bands for every licensed service in the province, this is a real gap rather than a hole in our data.

Five of the seven are subventionnees. That group includes CPE Terre des Enfants at 4.1 and CPE Narnia at 5.0, though Narnia's figure rests on seven reviews and should be read lightly against the volume the two K.I.D.S. sites have accumulated. Two charge market rates: Garderie Fun Academy, which holds 4.6 from twenty-eight reviews, and Foundation School Day Care Center, which has no ratings at all.

None of the seven is a home-based service. Quebec records no milieu familial in Westmount, which is consistent with the province as a whole in this dataset, where home-based providers are registered through coordinating offices rather than listed as separate services. Parents wanting that format generally look to Notre-Dame-de-Grace or Saint-Henri.

Intake runs through the Portail d'inscription aux services de garde. Waitlists in this part of the island run long, and two years is common for an infant place, so register as soon as your child is born, well before your desired start date.
